Job Description:
As a Client Service Representative in Loan Processing, you will be responsible for managing the flow of mortgage loan data, ensuring compliance with operational policies, and providing exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders. This role requires strong attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams, including Underwriting, Secondary Marketing, Lock Desk, Funding, and IT, ensuring smooth communication and efficient processing of loan data.
- Clearly explain operational policies and requirements to clients, ensuring all changes are communicated effectively.
- Handle inquiries about mortgage loan products, escalating complex issues to the appropriate departments.
- Work with Underwriting and Lock Desk to process product exceptions and underwriting requests.
- Coordinate with Appraisal and Due Diligence vendors to ensure timely and accurate processing of loan reviews.
- Monitor and resolve discrepancies in mortgage loan data to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Facilitate the delivery of loan files and collateral documents to external vendors for loan purchase processing.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to internal teams to enhance loan processing workflows.
- Track and manage loan pipelines, ensuring timely follow-up on credit and collateral documents.
- Meet established service levels and quality metrics, providing timely and high-quality client support.
- Generate and distribute lock and operational reports.
Qualifications:
- 1+years of loan processing experience.
